KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Indonesia’s regional trade agreement cooperation increases. Most recently, Indonesia officially signed the Regional Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (RCEP) on Sunday (15/11). The government is sure that Indonesia can get many benefits.
RCEP involves 10 ASEAN countries plus China, South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. The trade agreement, which was initiated in 2011, actually also covers India. However, for internal reasons, India refused to join even though it was part of a partnership group.
