Benefits and Benefits of Ayat Kursi After Prayer

Reading the Ayat Kursi after prayer has enormous benefits and virtues. Ayat Kursi in the hadith narrated by Bukhari states that this verse is the most glorious verse in the Quran.

People who read it can be protected from demons.

The reading of the Ayat Kursi is in Surat Al Baqarah verse 255:

الله لآ اله الا هو الحي القيوم ە لا تأخذه سنة ولا نوم له ما فى السموت وما فى الارض من ذا الذي يشفع عنده الا باذنه يعلم ما بين ايديهم وما خلفهم ولا يحيطون بشيء من علمه الا بما شاء وسع كرسيه السموت والارض ولا يوده حفظهما وهو العلي الْعَظِيْمُ – ٢٥٥

“Allah, there is no god but Him. The Living One, Who constantly cares for (His creatures), is not sleepy and does not sleep. His what is in the heavens and what is on earth. Nothing can intercede on side without His permission. He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they know nothing of His knowledge but what He wills. His seat covers the heavens and the earth. find it hard to care for both of them, and He is Most High, Greatest. ” (Surah Al Baqarah verse 255).

If we examine the meaning of the Ayat Kursi in general, it contains the main qualities of Allah. Among them are Divinity, Oneness, Life, Knowledge, Having Kingdom, Power, and Will.

As reported by the book entitled The Power of Wirid: The Secret and Efficacy of Recitation After Prayer for Peace by Luqman Junaidi, Ubay bin Ka’ab, one of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW reported that Rasulullah SAW asked, “Abu Mundzir (a friend of the Prophet Muhammad SAW), do you know? the most glorious verse in the Quran? “

“Allah and His Messenger know better,” answered Ubay.

He asked again, “Abu Mundzir, do you know the most glorious verse in the Quran that is with you?”

Ubay then read the verse on the chair. Rasulullah SAW then patted Ubay’s chest and said, “Abu Mundzir, by Allah you will be awarded knowledge.” (Reported by Muslim).

Rasulullah said:

In Surah Al Baqarah, there is one verse that is the head of all verses of the Quran. It is not read in a house where the devil is in, but the devil will come out of him. That’s the Ayat Kursi. (HR Al Hakim).

Rasulullah also said a lot about the advantages or virtues of the Ayat Kursi. Whoever reads the Ayat Kursi after the fardu prayer, Allah will give him the heart of a grateful person, the deeds of those who justify Allah, the rewards of the prophets, bestow His grace, and do not prevent him from entering heaven but death will do it. (Narrated by An-Nasai).
