Dream – For Muslims, male circumcision is an obligation. In Indonesia, circumcision is usually performed on children aged 6 years and over. After that, a thanksgiving and recitation event was held to pray for the circumcised child.

Actually circumcision can be done since a child is a baby, even a few weeks after the baby is born. Of course, circumcision can only be done if the baby is in good health.

“Circumcision of newborn boys can be done before or a few days after the mother and baby leave the hospital,” said dr. Reza Fahlevi, quoted from KlikDokter.com.

If the baby has certain medical conditions, circumcision can be postponed. Certain medical conditions, for example, can be a premature birth, a baby born with a penis problem, or a blood clotting disorder, such as hemophilia.

Medically, circumcision is proven to provide health benefits. Not only short-term benefits, circumcision also provides long-term benefits.
