KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemsos) changed the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) scheme into a Basic Food Program. The funds allocated for the Basic Food Program this year also increased to Rp. 28 trillion from Rp. 20.4 trillion allocated for BPNT last year.
However, when the budget value increases, the number of Beneficiary Families (KPM) actually decreases. In 2020, the Ministry of Social Affairs is aiming for 15.2 million families or a decrease compared to KPM in 2019 which reached 15.6 million.
