JAKARTA, iNews.id – Oat milk or wheat milk is increasingly popular during a pandemic. For those who don’t like or can’t even consume animal milk, this plant-based drink is a good alternative.

Oat milk is a trend because it is no less delicious than cow’s milk. Moreover, the variety of oat milk content that is beneficial for health, such as calcium, potassium, iron, vitamins A and D.

The various benefits of wheat milk include skin health. Oat milk is rich in B vitamins, including riboflavin (B2) and vitamin B12.

Oat milk is also believed to be healthy for the heart because it contains beta-glucans. Beta-glucans form a gel-like substance in the intestines that can bind to cholesterol so this can help lower blood cholesterol levels, particularly the ‘bad’ LDL cholesterol which has been linked to heart disease.
