Wisdom of Reciting 99 Asmaul Husna and Their Meanings

Reporting from the NU Online page, every Muslim is encouraged to pray to recite Asmaul Husna. A Muslim who prays to recite Asmaul Husna will be given mercy by Allah SWT and will be kept away from all badness. Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari said,
“The person who prays with Asmaul Husna has asked for the whole good, and has made prevention between himself and the total ugliness. So when you say Al-Rahman Al-Rahim, then you have asked for mercy, and if you chant Al-Lathif then you have asked for mercy. tenderness, and so on. ” (Muhammad bin Alwi al-Aidarus, Khawwash Asma’ul-Husna Littadawi wa Qadha il-Hajat, Dar el-Kutub, Shan’a, Cet. 3rd 2011, p. 16).
“Calling Asmaul Husna is beneficial for (the affairs) of the world, religion, and the hereafter, and his remembrance is called a collection of goodness, keys of blessings, and disclosure of clarity. It is not the difficulty that is occupied with Asmaul Husna but Allah expands the difficulty, it is not debt but Allah fulfills it. His debt, not defeat but Allah will help him, not those who are wronged but Allah will return their wrongdoing, not people who are misguided but Allah give guidance, not people who are sick but Allah heals their illnesses, not dark hearts but Allah enlightens their hearts with Asmaul Husna. ” (Muhammad bin Alwi al-Aidarus, Khawwâsh Asma’ul-Husna Littadâwi wa Qadha il-Hajat, Dar el-Kutub, Shan’a, 3rd Cet. 2011, p. 17)
