Through PATS Technology, Sanspower Flows 1.6 Million Liters of Water Per Day
Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Concern for residents and the environment is shown by the increasing demand for the installation of PATS solar water pumps in Indonesia. PATS is a system that is designed to have sustainable advantages and benefits.
As a driving force, PATS uses solar energy which has the advantage of having no daily or monthly fees to pay for electricity bills and its minimal maintenance. In addition, the flexibility of the PATS which does not require a conventional grid allows installation anywhere as long as there is sunlight.
In the last year of 2020, PT Java Surya Teknik (Sanspower) as a PATS provider managed to distribute 1.6 million liters of water per day throughout the country. Of course, for various applications such as drinking water, sanitation, irrigation and other clean water needs.
Compang Ndejing Village, Borong District, East Manggatai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, is one of the areas that uses PATS as a solution for proper drinking water for its residents. This village is one of the areas where it is still difficult to get clean, potable water.
“Never mind irrigation, drinking is hard,” said Ahmad, to the village of Compang Ndejing.
In fact, the village with a population of 2,336 people, the majority of whom work as farmers. This has always been a threat to local villages, especially during the dry season.
It was not only enough to install PATS, the Sanspower team also provided training on equipment operations, maintenance, and simple repairs to the PATS system. It is hoped that residents can optimize and make better use of PATS, so that the age of using PATS will also be longer.
“I am very grateful to Sanspower for helping to realize the residents’ initiative to build PATS. Now residents can get easier access to their drinking water needs in their homes,” said Vincent Paul Nagor, CDP Manager of YGNI-Borong.
Not only Compang Ndejing residents, residents of Laborui Village, Sabu Liae District, Raijua Regency, have also received fresh air over the existence of the PATS system. Previously, residents had to go up and down hills as far as 2 km to get clean water by carrying jerry cans.
If you don’t want to go far, residents have to spend Rp. 250,000 for one tank to meet their needs. The village, which is inhabited by 730 people, always experiences drought when the dry season arrives.
Many benefits have been provided by Sanspower throughout Indonesia with their flagship PATS system. The aspiration to create a just energy has also become increasingly visible.
This system has helped many areas that previously had difficulty getting water, be it for drinking, irrigation, livestock or other needs. Sanspower will continue to improve its services to create a prosperous society in accordance with the ideals of the nation.
