Plus benefits for civil servants from Taspen Life

CROSS CIRCLE. PT Asuransi Jiwa Taspen (Taspen Life) continues to utilize the network owned by their parent company PT Taspen (Persero). Most recently, the company offers an additional benefit program for civil servants at the local government level to be assigned to Taspen Life.
By paying an additional premium each month, a civil servant can get pension funds up to two times higher than without participating in this additional benefit program.
As a first step, Taspen Life is collaborating with the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan to become their customer. The MoU was conducted between the company and the provincial government, Tuesday (10/2). Until the end of the year, Taspen Life is eyeing at least three to four other provincial governments to collaborate with.
Previously, Taspen also transferred the non-PNS ENT program portfolios from ten BUMN companies and one BUMD. According to the President Director of Taspen Life, this number is expected to increase to seven companies by the end of 2015.
That way, the number of the company’s customers is expected to increase this year compared to last year’s 800 customers. “We are targeting this year to reach 200 thousand customers,” he said.
Meanwhile, Taspen Life targets premium growth of 20 percent compared to the previous 2014 realization. From last year’s premium of Rp. 132 billion, this year it is expected to reach Rp. 158.4 billion.
