Pekalongan City Government Adds 14 E-Warong
RADARSEMARANG.ID, Pekalongan – The Pekalongan City Government through the Social Service, Population Control and Family Planning (Dinsos P2KB) will add 14 electronic mutual cooperation stalls (E-Warong). This is to improve services to local Beneficiary Families (KPM).
Head of Pekalongan City’s P2KB Social Empowerment Division, Darsilah, explained that during 2020, there were already 13 E-Warong points. According to him, this could further help alleviate poverty and distribute Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT). “The goods sold by E-Warong are also cheaper than the market price, of course,” he explained Tuesday (2/2/2021).
Later, E-Warong will still be managed by the Joint Business Group (KUBE) with targets that have been registered in the integrated social welfare data (DTKS). Based on the DTKS release as of October 2020, there are 35,963 registered families. “Currently, only 18 thousand KPM have received benefits. Because it prioritized the category I decile very poor and decile II, poor category, “he explained.
Currently, there are about 13 E-Warong units spread across four sub-districts. It consists of three West Districts, namely Pringrejo Village, Sapuro Village, and Podosugih Village. Pekalongan Timur sub-district is located in Kelurahan Klego, Kelurahan Setono, Kelurahan Landungsari, and Kelurahan Kalibaros. Furthermore, Pekalongan Selatan District, namely in the Village of Sokoduwet, Kelurahan Kuripan Kertoharjo, and Kelurahan Jenggot. North Pekalongan Sub-district is located in Krapyak Village, Padukuhan Kraton Village, and Panjang Baru Village.
Regarding the addition of 14 E-Warongs that are ready to be activated in 2021, they have actually been operating starting November 2020 to distribute aid from the government, but administratively still follow the old E-Warong. Still the same as before, PKM makes transactions using a Combo card with a subsidy from the government of Rp. 200 thousand per month.
