Benefits of Burping in Babies

Baby belching after breastfeeding the goal is that he does not vomit. These are the benefits and ways of burping babies.

Why can it help?
Generally, babies tend to swallow air while eating, and this makes them bloated. Burping will release all of the air bubbles that often make him feel uncomfortable.

When to do it?
Burp your baby when you are moving breasts while feeding him or after drinking about 30cc or more of formula milk. If a baby swallows his formula too quickly (this is his tendency, yes), burp him frequently.

How to?
With an upright body position, place him on your shoulders. Another way is to place him on your lap, or lay flat on your lap. Slowly, rub and pat his back upwards to both sides of the shoulders. Don’t hit it because this will make your little one feel scared and won’t let out the air inside. After a few minutes of patting him up, straighten himself up again.

Why relax?
“If you never burp a healthy baby, that doesn’t mean something bad will happen,” says Ari Brown, MD, author of Baby 411. By 4 months, most babies can burp without help. Of course, little Mama too. In fact, he knows, really, when and why he should do it.
