Linguistically, dhuha is defined as the time when the sun appears (sunrise). The definition in the term is prayer which is performed mainly two rak’ahs as recommended by the Prophet and is performed between the time of sunrise after Fajr and before the time of Dzuhur arrives.

The recommended times for performing Dhuha prayers are when the sun has fully risen and about 15 minutes before the time for Dzuhur prayer arrives.

There are several benefits and rewards that a Muslim can get when they perform this Dhuha prayer.
