Asabri Operations and Services Continue Normal

In 2020 Asabri has distributed pension funds to retirees amounting to IDR 15.5 T

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – As a bearer of the mandate of the Government in providing Social Insurance services to its participants in 2020, Asabri has distributed pension funds to retirees amounting to IDR 15.5 trillion. These funds are paid by the Government through the state budget and distributed by Asabri to 439 thousand retirees at the beginning of each month.

In addition, Asabri also paid Rp 1.6 trillion for old-age benefits (THT), work accident insurance (JKK), and death benefits (JKm) to around 58 thousand participants who submitted claims. Monthly pension payments and insurance are carried out in an appropriate manner, in the right amount, and on time and with the best service supported by 14 partners spread across Indonesia.

Early February 2021 Asabri provides Special Death Risk Compensation (SRKK) insurance benefits to the heirs of two participants who died as a result of a firefight with KKB in Papua, namely Posthumous Dedi Hamdani and Posthumous Roy Febrianto, with the provision of total insurance benefit rights of IDR 900 million. SRKK Fall is given to the heirs of participants who died while carrying out war military operations or military operations other than war, either inside or outside the country as a result of the direct action of the opponent / enemy / offenders of the law, or due to weather, the field of operation / natural factors in accordance with PP 54 of 2020 amendments to PP 102 of 2015.

In terms of company operations, Asabri’s Managing Director, Wahyu Suparyono, emphasized that operations would continue as normal as they should. Participants’ rights were Asabri’s top priority. Hard work in 2020 is a manifestation of and commitment to Asabri’s mission to improve the welfare of Asabri participants through the development of technology-based service systems and increasing social insurance benefits, supported by the development of human resources with integrity and character and proper investment management.

In the service sector, Asabri has carried out various breakthroughs to improve services to participants throughout 2020. Launching Asabri application Mobile based on Android in June 2020, shows Asabri’s commitment to using technology to improve services and convenience for participants.

Participants’ responses to this application continued to improve where at the end of 2020 there were 27 thousand participants who had downloaded this application.
