a. Freestyle swimming
Freestyle swimming is a movement that is performed by bending over the body, where the hands and feet perform water pulls and kicks.

b. Backstroke swimming
Backstroke swimming is a swimming style with your back facing the water or your supine body position. The backstroke movement is the same as the freestyle movement.
The difference is, in the backstroke, the swimmer’s face is above the water surface so it is easy to breathe and open the eyes.
Then in the backstroke, it will be difficult to determine the direction of motion because the eyes are facing upwards. In the backstroke, the legs are more active in moving upwards.
c. Swimming breaststroke
Breaststroke swimming is also called frog-style swimming because it moves like a frog when swimming. Breaststroke swimming is a swimming style with a body position such as crawling on the surface of the water combined with leg and hand movements.
Hands and feet are in the water and the head moves up and down from the inside to the surface of the water. In breaststroke, swimmers can look forward while swimming.
e. Butterfly style swimming
The butterfly stroke is a development of breaststroke. The butterfly stroke is a swimming style that is carried out with both arms simultaneously moving forward.
Extend both hands then flap to pedal forward. The movement of the two hands is like the movement of a butterfly wing.
To do this style requires a lot of energy, rhythm, and good coordination. This style is the most difficult to learn compared to other styles.
