SELATPANJANG – Meranti Islands Regent Drs H Irwan MSi will be vaccinated against Covid-19 which is planned to be held on Monday (8/2/2021).

Not only Regent Irwan, Covid-19 vaccination will also be carried out for health workers and a number of other forkopimda which are centered at the Setatah Children’s Health Center, Rangsang Barat District.

This was revealed in a coordination meeting for the implementation of government policy on the Covid-19 vaccination program in Meranti Islands which was led directly by the Meranti District Secretary, Dr. H Kamsol MM at the Regent’s Office Hall, Wednesday (3/2/2021) afternoon.

As explained by Kadiskes Meranti, dr. H Misri Hasanto MKes, currently there are only 3 districts that have not implemented the Covid-19 vaccination, including the Meranti Islands. So in order for this government program to run successfully and smoothly it is necessary to declare it first which is planned to be held on January 8, 2021 at the Puskesmas Anak Setatah, the aim is to give confidence to the public regarding the benefits of vaccination and to ward off hoax news related to the side effects of the Covid-19 vaccine. the.

“So this activity is to give confidence to the public that this vaccine is safe, and I am among the first to register for the Covid-19 vaccination tomorrow,” he said.

Apart from Dr. Misri, several doctors also registered as the first to receive vaccinations, namely, Dr. H Joko Nugroho, Dr. Erik Witular K SpB, Dr. Mifta Khudin, Dr. Lyta, Azharul Yusri SpOG, Dr. Nuzki Yofanda, Sp PD, Dr. Willliam eddy.

For Covid-19 vaccination services, Misri said, it would be carried out in health service facilities such as health centers, clinics, hospitals which were carried out by trained health workers. The amount of quota is also limited to services at the puskesmas to only 30 people / day. This is done to avoid buildup, then before a person is vaccinated, a screening will be carried out to ensure the health condition concerned.

This Covid-19 vaccination will be given to a person for 2 injections with a distance of 14 days.

The vaccination stages are participants showing an E-Ticket which is verified using the Pcare, Screning application or a simple physical examination by the officer to find out health conditions and identify congenital diseases (Comorbid), and vaccine injection by officers.

“Everything that will be vaccinated will be recorded in accordance with the NIK KTP concerned. This data will later be used as a reference for making certificates (cards),” said Misri.

This means that people who have vaccinated against Covid-19 will get a certificate, which is useful when traveling, they no longer need to do a swab or rapid test.(rls)
