JAKARTA. Next week, alias benefits coordination coordination of benefits compiled by the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI), the Indonesian General Insurance Association (AAUI) and the Health Social Security Administration (BPJS) will be completed soon.
Coordination of these benefits will harmonize the implementation of public health insurance with insurance benefits from private / commercial insurance companies. “It seems that on April 2, 2014, the last meeting was for finalization,” said Benny Waworuntu, Executive Director of AAJI, Tuesday (25/3).
It is predicted that the technical arrangement related to the implementation of public health insurance with private insurance will run side by side starting in the middle of this year. Thus, government programs will not interfere with the private insurance business.
Previously, Julian Noor, Executive Director of AAUI said, there were many points that were discussed. Namely, the coordination of benefits, membership data, payment of premiums or contributions, claim data, administration, information systems to outreach.
Not only that, the discussion is also related to health service providers who work with BPJS Kesehatan or private insurance companies, including regarding non-medical needs that are met by BPJS Health which can later be added by private insurance benefits.
