Bulog has distributed rice to 933,725 families who receive the benefits of basic food assistance

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Perum Bulog noted, until May 17 2020 at 18:00 WIB, Bulog had distributed rice in the Jabodetabek social assistance program to 933,725 beneficiary families (KPM) or 64.36% of the target of 1.45 million KPM.
“Until now, it is 64%. Today until tomorrow we maximize it to 100%, and it will end the day after tomorrow,” said Director of Operations and Public Services of Bulog, Tri Wahyudi Saleh.
Meanwhile, the rice that will be distributed in this basic food assistance is 25 kilograms per KPM. This distribution has also started since May 5.

When detailed, the basic food assistance packages have been distributed to West Jakarta as many as 216,662 KPM or 99.87%, to Central Jakarta amounting to 89,904 KPM or 99.70%, or 42.20%. Then to North Jakarta as much as 165,067 KPM or 104.16%, to East Jakarta 270,773 KPM or 98.89%, to South Jakarta as much as 189,627 KPM or 96.05%.
Furthermore, to Bekasi City, it was 291 KPM or 0.15%, to the Thousand Islands 1.36 KPM, while to Bogor Regency it was 112 KM or 0.16%. However, there has been no distribution to Tangerang City, South Tangerang City and Depok City.
Meanwhile, of the total target of 1.45 million, the number of KPM recipients in the Seribu Islands was 3,244 KPM, West Jakarta 216,899 KPM, in Central Jakarta as many as 90,172 KPM, in East Jakarta as many as 273,784 KPM, North Jakarta 158,481 KPM, Tangerang City 55,332 KPM , Bogor Regency with 70,468 KPM, Bekasi City 197,785 KPM, Depok City 124,129 KPM, and South Tangerang City with 63,045 KPM.
Previously, the Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P Batubara said that one of the other non-regular social assistance programs intended during the Covid-19 pandemic was the Jabodetabek basic food assistance.
For this Jabodetabek social assistance, the value of distribution is IDR 600,000 per family in the form of basic food packages starting from April-June 2020. The distribution is carried out every 2 weeks, where each distribution is IDR 300,000.
The distribution of basic food social assistance which is carried out in 6 stages will also be divided into 4 distributions in the form of basic food packages and 2 times in the form of rice distributed by Bulog.
