Other citrus fruits, such as grapefruit, have the same benefits as lemons in cleaning dirty surfaces, especially bathrooms.
According to various sources, grapefruit or red grapefruit comes from Barbados, an archipelago located on the border of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

However, Rapinchuk prefers to use a different abrasive for rubbing rather than sugar.

Keep in mind, the trick to clean the bathroom with grapefruit is not necessarily suitable for every surface.
Citrus fruits, including grapefruit, work well on hard, non-porous surfaces such as ceramic or porcelain tiles, metal, and glass.
Meanwhile, surfaces made of natural stone such as travertine, granite, or marble should not be cleaned with grapefruit, because acids can damage the surface.
