Benefits of Circumcision for Health
Circumcision is known as circumcision in medicine. Circumcision in boys has health benefits, including preventing urinary tract infections, to AIDS. In America alone, every year about 55-65% of newborns are circumcised within the first 10 days after birth.
Circumcision is done by cutting and removing the outer layer covering the tip of the penis (foreskin). The goal is to keep the penis clean. Because, behind the foreskin is an ideal hiding place for dirt, viruses, and bacteria carried by urine.
From a health standpoint, if not cleaned, the retained dirt can cause infection and cause various genital diseases.
