This feature is a new feature included in Genshin Impact that raises the level of relationships with the two major cities on the map.
Improve your city’s reputation and unlock rewards by completing missions and challenges in each city.
Currently, each city has eight reputation levels, each with attractive prizes.
How to build a city’s reputation
At Genshin Impact, there are several ways to improve your city’s reputation.
- Regional quest: Complete missions in the Mondstadt and Liyue areas to build your reputation in each city. They don’t have to be in the city itself.
- World exploration: Increases the progress of exploration of the Mondstadt and Liyue areas. Earning a few milestones will improve your city’s reputation.
- Bounty: Find and defeat bounty targets in each city to increase your reputation. You can complete up to three bounties a week to boost your city’s reputation.
- request: Complete requests from residents of each city to improve your city’s reputation. Requests are updated every Monday and up to 3 requests are available each week to boost the city’s reputation.

How to boost your city’s reputation with Liyue and Mondstadt
You need a rank 25 adventure level to unlock a city’s reputation in Liyue and Mondstadt. Once you reach Rank 25, you need to go to the city, talk to NPCs, and complete missions.
Montstadt
Completion of Archon Quest, Outlander who caught the wind (Prologue Act 1). When you’re done, talk to Hertha to find out about other requests and collect gifts.
Riyue
Completion of Archon Quest, Farewell, Archaic Road (Chapter 1: Act 2). Talk to your wife when you’re done. Yu, listen to other requests at Li Yue Port and get gifts.
