Riot Games to hold Midseason Cup 2020! | Spin

Riot Games has officially canceled one of its major tournaments, Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2020, due to a coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic that has shown no signs of significant decline.

As a League of Legends developer, of course, Riot Games must struggle to keep the League of Legends ecosystem running. That’s why Riot Games has finally launched an alternative tournament for MSI 2020.

Riot Games has decided to host an alternative tournament titled Mid-Season Cup: LPL vs LCK to replace MSI 2020, which the League of Legends community has been waiting for.
