Riot Games Plans Southeast Asian Valorant Tournament!
Riot Games is planning a brave tournament for universities in Southeast Asia!
Valorant is hugely popular in Southeast Asia, and Riot Games Southeast Asia has announced plans to host a college-level Valorant tournament!
After the investigation, it was found that the most Valorant players in Southeast Asia were found among young people still studying in college.
Seven countries are rumored to be participating in this tournament. Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan.
College partners work closely with campuses and universities to organize student tournaments.
Some of these partners are:
- Mineski Philippines for Philippine Esports
- Acad Arena for Philippine Campus
- Malaysia and Singapore esports gaming company
- Professional Gamers League and Eliphant for Esports Singapore
- Hong Kong and Taiwan esports Talon
- Thai esports ESL
- Taiwan Mobile for Taiwan Esports
- One-up to Indonesian esports
Valorant is a very new game and the esports scene is still growing slowly.
In fact, the COVID-19 pandemic makes it difficult for Riot to host official tournaments, as all ongoing tournaments must be held online, limiting the number of players who can participate in the tournament.
Due to the small number of tournaments in progress, some of the talented talents not seen in Valorant haven’t even had the opportunity to view the form.
