The disbursement of pension benefits at Dapen Telkom has increased

JAKARTA. Pension Fund (Dapen) Telkom recorded an increase in the collection of pension benefits at once in 2015. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has stipulated regulations on the benefit of participants and has an impact on Dapen’s managed funds.
In 2015, Dapen funds under management amounted to Rp. 16 trillion, down from Rp. 17.1 trillion in 2014.
Sujadi Merdeka, Membership Director of Dapen Telkom, said that the disbursement for the benefit of participants at the same time last year reached Rp 350 billion. The number jumped from 2014 which was only Rp. 2.9 billion. Meanwhile, the total pension benefit payments reached IDR 1.2 trillion.
“Indeed, we immediately felt a decrease in our managed funds. But the regulation is good for the company. So we are more efficient in managing participant funds at this time,” explained Sujadi on Friday (5/2).

For example, increasing data validity and accelerating the participation administration process for the right, right amount and timely payment of pension benefits.
