Taspen distributes pension benefits through Bank Mantap

JAKARTA. PT Taspen (Persero) is collaborating with their subsidiary PT Bank Mandiri Taspen Pos to distribute the payment of old age benefits (THT), multipurpose THT and monthly pension to retired state civil servants.
The bank, known as Bank Mantap, is the 43rd banking partner to channel Taspen benefits.
Taspen President Director, Iqbal Latanro said, this cooperation would be followed by a number of other collaborations. “There are several Taspen product developments that can be collaborated with Bank Mantap too,” he said, Friday (24/7).
Iqbal said that by the end of this year, the bank, formerly known as Bank Sinar Harapan Bali, could serve at least 2,000 Taspen customers. Where in total Iqbal said their total participants reached 6.8 million people.
The plan is that 2.3 million participants are an active benefit. Meanwhile, 4.5 million people are active participants.
To pay benefits to 2.3 million retired state civil servants, Taspen disbursed around Rp.5.5 trillion per month.
