Ministry of Education and Culture Explains the Benefits of Students and Lecturers Participating in the Teaching Campus Program
Wartakotalive.com, Jakarta – Director of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Aris Junaidi, revealed that the Teaching Campus program is not only beneficial for students, but also for lecturers.
The Teaching Campus Program can be followed by lecturers and students to help student learning amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The benefits for tertiary institutions and lecturers will make a real contribution to educational problems, especially during this pandemic, providing opportunities for cross-program lecturers to collaborate with students, schools and teachers in educational development,” said Aris in the socialization of the Teaching Campus program which was held online, Saturday. (13/2/2021).
According to Aris, the Teaching Campus also provides opportunities for lecturers to serve the community. In addition, the Teaching Campus opens opportunities for lecturers to innovate in improving the quality of education.
This program, according to Aris, is also beneficial for this college. Through the Teaching Campus, universities can meet the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) which the Ministry of Education and Culture will reward with incentives.
“The main thing is to support universities to achieve IKU number 2, namely the number of students who gain experience outside the campus,” said Aris.
Aris said that field supervisors will receive incentives and certificate of activity supervisors.
Registration for the Teaching Campus program is open from 9 to 21 February 2021 by registering for administration through the MBKM application.
This application takes notes starting from account registration, activities, selection processes, recording student activities to an integrated assessment process with PDDikti.
So it is certain that lecturers and students who want to be part of the Teaching Campus program must be registered with PDDikti.
