KONTAN.CO.ID -JAKARTA. Chancellor of the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) Arif Satria stated that he was negative from exposure to the corona virus or Covid-19, after 19 September he was confirmed positive for the corona virus.
In his written statement, Tuesday (29/9), Arif said he was open with his condition being exposed to the corona in order to facilitate contact tracing of people whose activities are close to him.
“I decided to state openly that I was positive for Covid-19. Alhamdulillah, there are several benefits, namely to make it easier tracing and minimize the risk of transmitting it to other people, “said Arif.
Arif said that people who come into contact with him can take the initiative to carry out a rapid test and swab examination. That way, this can help control the transmission of Covid-19.
“We do not remember exactly who we met since 10 days ago. By declaring it openly, people who think they have met me will know that I was exposed,” he said.

Arif was also grateful for the announcement that he was open positive for corona, he received many prayers and made himself optimistic about getting better again.

Arif announced himself positive for corona on Saturday (19/9). He tested positive he decided to isolate himself because of his good physical condition.
He also met with Deputy Minister of Defense Wahyu Sakti Trenggono before it was confirmed that the corona was. However, Trenggono has already checked himself and it is negative.
