JAKARTA. The Minister of Manpower M Hanif Dhakiri suggested that the Social Security Administration for Employment (BPJS) provide additional benefits in the form of increased skills and competence for workers or laborers.

The increase in additional benefit services is aimed at improving the quality of human resources and worker productivity as well as improving the welfare of workers who are BPJS participants.

“We continue to encourage BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to improve services and increase the additional benefits of increasing the skills and competencies needed by workers,” said Hanif in a press release, Thursday (11/8).

Menaker Hanif also hopes that the BPJS can provide clear information about the benefits and benefits that will be received by BPJS participants, so that it becomes attractive and results in the number of BPJS participants being able to increase significantly.

Improved services and information about the benefits of joining the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program and additional benefits for workers, continued Hanif, would be very effective in increasing the number of participants.

So far, the BPJS is also making a number of breakthroughs and programs that are already in progress and are being developed with new innovations to increase the membership level of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan which only reaches 19.4 million workers.

“The point is that we want to ensure that the coverage of our participation is more comprehensive, covering all jobs and as many workers as BPJS participants,” said Hanif.
