AAJI hopes that the coordination of benefits with BPJS will be completed

JAKARTA. The Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI) claims the draft cooperation agreement is related to the coordination of benefits or benefits coordination of benefits with the Indonesian General Insurance Association (AAUI) and the Health Social Security Administration (BPJS) to be completed in the near future.
So, Benny Waworuntu, Executive Director of AAJI hopes that the coordination of benefits for the national health insurance program with private company health insurance products can run side by side starting in the middle of this year.
“There are seven coordination benefits that are being discussed by AAJI, AAUI and BPJS Kesehatan. Currently, it is still in the finalization stage. Hopefully, it will be done in the middle of this year so that the private company insurance market will not be disturbed, ”he said, Thursday (13/3).
Previously, Julian Noor, the Executive Director of AAUI, explained that his party had discussed many points with AAJI and BPJS Kesehatan. Namely, the coordination of benefits, membership data, payment of premiums or contributions, claim data, administration, information systems to outreach.
He said, the discussion was also related to health service providers who collaborated with BPJS Kesehatan or insurance companies, including discussions about non-medical needs fulfilled by BPJS which could later be added by the benefits of each insurance company.
