According to a study by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, drinking less than 5 cups of coffee is okay and safe for all types of coffee drinkers.
Conversely, if you drink more than 5 cups of coffee a day can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease and heart problems increased by 22 percent.
Coffee is rich in antioxidants and some of its benefits can help inflamed blood vessels and reduce pain.
“Antioxidants can reduce the risk of heart failure and help those with diabetes, but can have the opposite effect if excessive,” the study wrote. It is also important to note that coffee is not a dangerous drink.
