Orlando Magic has a curse that ruins a star player's career

The NBA has many stories, some of which are not so happy and some of which are unique. When we talk about curses, there should be curses in the league. Recently, I’ve seen some of them related to Orlando Magic and their number one jersey, famous for its curses.

Jonathan Isaac is currently wearing a jersey and has fallen and broke the ACL on his left knee. Isaac is not the first to have been seriously injured during his stay at Magic.

In front of him are two players, also wearing number one jerseys, and seeing their careers diminishing, they’re ready to make a big mark on the game. Looks like and chose to retire from the NBA.

The first is Penny Hardaway. He had great hopes for Magic after Shaquille O’Neal left the team and Hardaway missed 63 games in 1997 due to a knee injury. Over time, he suffered more injuries during his career. It could have been very promising.

After a penny, Magic found another great player, Tracy McGrady, one of the best shooting guard players I’ve seen in the game. But in time he had a fate similar to Penny Hardaway. When McGrady was at its best, he began to suffer from a series of injuries, downgrading and seeing him become a bench player from one of the NBA’s best and most interesting players.

Looking ahead, two years later, in 2008, T-Mac, who was elected to the All-NBA Second Team, played 35 games, averaging 8.2 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 3.2 APG. Eventually he decided to retire, even though he knew he could be the best player of his generation if he didn’t give up quickly.

Gilbert Arenas also suffered from this curse if he wanted to add another name to the list, but he was still a member of the Washington Wizards in 2007 when he injured his left knee. One jersey that went to Magic and wore that number, but his injury got worse.

In essence, all three of these players have the potential to become superstars, and some have longer careers than others, but they haven’t been able to reach their full potential. Is clear. Some expected Isaac not to repeat the same thing, but says history is different.
