India has officially banned Mobile Legends, why?

India has officially banned Mobile Legends, why? It can be said that India and China are currently engaged in the Cold War. Many Indians are seeking a boycott of applications filed in China, and this desire seems to have been fulfilled by the Indian government.

Rumors have spread on social media that the IT ministry has issued an order banning Mobile Legends along with other apps such as TikTok. Many gamers will be surprised that Clash of Kings and Mobile Legends are banned.

India has decided to remove 59 Chinese apps from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. In addition to Mobile Legends and Clash of Kings, there are apps such as UC Browser, Bigo Live and Weibo. See below for a complete list of applications banned by the Government of India.

“Based on this, after receiving the recent credible opinion that applications threaten India’s sovereignty and integrity, the Government of India bans the use of certain applications used on mobile and non-mobile internet-enabled devices. This decision protects the interests of mobile and Internet users in India. This decision is a targeted measure to ensure cyber security and sovereignty in India. ” The Ministry of Information Technology (MEITY) said.

Uniquely, there are two games that are also popular in India, where the developers are from China. That is, Garena Free Fire and PUBG Mobile. Both of these games seem to have managed to escape the ban by the Indian government.
