Mint paste
Puree 10-15 mint leaves. Add water until it forms a thick paste-like consistency. Apply the paste to the affected area and let it dry. After dry, rinse with warm water. Do this once a day.
Mint toner
This toner has astringent properties and is a high source of salicylic acid which prevents acne and removes scars. The mint toner also leaves skin feeling refreshed and is a perfect companion during the summer.
Add 1 ½ cup water and 1 cup shredded or shredded mint leaves to the container and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and close the container. Allow it to cool then transfer to a spray bottle. You can store it in the refrigerator. Spray the toner on the face 2-3 times a day.
Mint, yogurt and cucumber mask
Olive oil contains antioxidants and oleic acid, and, along with mint and lemon, helps get rid of acne-causing bacteria. This mask is good for all skin types.
Puree 15-20 mint leaves, mix with ½ teaspoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Clean your face with water and then apply the paste all over your face or just on the area with acne. Massage gently and let it steep for 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water and use 3 times a week.
Mint scrub
This facial scrub can rejuvenate the skin and help remove excess oil and bacteria. Oats gently exfoliate dead skin cells, preventing them from building up in the follicles. Mint, honey, and cucumber keep skin hydrated and reduce inflammation.
Crush 10-15 mint leaves. Grind together 1 tablespoon of rolled oats. Mix 1 tablespoon of cucumber juice and 1 teaspoon of honey. Apply it all over your face, focusing on the affected areas. Let it dry and rinse gently with water.
